As far as I can see, there isn't anything to critique here. I can't find anything wrong with this piece. Everything looks so fantastic. The amount of detail is incredible, the colors are very vivid and eye-catching, and somehow you managed to keep the bodies in proportion. And it all comes together seamlessly. I would say this is one of your very finest works, if not the finest. I am extremely impressed.
Maybe someone else around here can find something you can improve on. If they do, they must have sharper eyes than mine. Me, I wouldn't change a thing here. I love this just the way it is!
Ah, a little lover's quarrel here, eh? Ha---well, as your other critiquer said, there isn't much to criticize here, as your work here is really very well-done. Dragon!Malificent and Snake!Jafar both look excellent, could have been lifted right out of their respective movies, and the fire effect not only makes the picture awesome but manages to tie in their color motifs. However, there is a negative side-effect in that the different colored backgrounds sort of divide the picture, so that at first glance this looks almost like two different images were just put together, a fact compounded by the fact that the bulk of their bodies are fairly far apart. Jafar's tail wrapped around Malificent and the castle in the background rectifies this somewhat, but the first impression is still a bit off.
Other than that, this picture is definitely excellent, and I applaud your ability to mix artistic skill with dramatic planning.
First off, I loved this!!!!!!! Secondly, I hope this isn't too much to ask, but could you make the same battle, but them being in their sorcerer forms instead of animals? Please? Once again, I LOVE THIS!!!!
Hi there! Sorry but this kind of pictures I don't do so often, mainly because I don't have the time XD and secondly I had a reeeeaaally hard time drawing human forms, and making these two in their human forms would be quite a challenge!
Alright then. Malificent showed little in combat other than creating some thorns, blasting lightning, and turning into a dragon. Jafar was breathing fire, creating swords out of nothing, and transforming things. Jafar seems to have better feats but Malificent never really fought so who knows, maybe she could do the same thing. I'd say Jafar is more clever and level-headed and that his snake form is tougher as being stabbed with a sword was a minor problem while Malificent died from it.
Yes I have been asked, and as I've told everyone I'm so not drawing Silver ever again in my life!! hahahaah he's one of the most complicated characters I've ever drawn in my entire life... So that's a no sorry
To those who will reply to my theory, I have another way to explain the outcome of this battle. If any of you have watch the sword and the stone, see the wizards duel between Merlin and Madame Mym. They both used only animal skills to fight each other. Especially the part where Mym turns into a purple dragon and uses that animals skills.
